The Director of Children's Ministry

You and your family are welcome at WOODS!

Our Sunday mornings begin with Worship! Children gather, sing, and pray as part of the family of God. After a Children's Moment, the children may attend Sunday School at 9:30 and 11. There, adults will share a Bible Story and children will respond through play, creativity, and/or mission activities. Our goal is for every child to feel safe and to know God loves them. Once your child is registered, a permanent name tag will be provided. Please select your child's nametag from our Woods Welcome Tree near the Sanctuary door. Notify us of any change in allergy or emergency information, and return the tag to the Family of God tree *if it was not collected in Sunday School.

Nursery is provided from 9:30 AM until the end of the 11 AM service. All volunteers are background checked and work with at least one other adult.

9:30 classes are a Bible Survey of faith foundational stories.

10:30 you and your child are invited to fellowship time with bagels, coffee and lemonade.

11 AM classes are a child-forward retelling of the scripture in worship. Children wonder together about what God's Word means for them on that day. Then children respond with prayer, praise, creativity, or games.

DURING worship, Worship Bags and Children's Bible Storybooks are provided in the back of the church.

12:15 PM -12:45 PM Children's Choir meets in the choir room on the fourth floor.
